Ronda Rousey feet and footwear history splits in two. In the cage she fought barefoot, most recently beating Gina Carano by armbar on May 16, 2026. Outside it, she was a Reebok athlete, starring in the 2015 ZPump Fusion ad and the 2016 Perfect Never campaign, and wore Givenchy Nadia sandals to a 2016 awards dinner.

Which Shoe Brand Sponsored Ronda Rousey?

Reebok. The UFC announced that she and Jon Jones had signed with the brand to help develop its UFC apparel and a line of footwear and apparel for people who use combat training to stay fit, a group Reebok put at more than 35 million worldwide.

In 2015 she joined JJ Watt in a national ZPump Fusion commercial, launched August 1, showing a hard training session in the running shoe. Footwear News explained that the sneaker brought back Reebok's inflatable Pump technology.

The Perfect Never Campaign

In July 2016 Reebok released Perfect Never, part of its Be More Human campaign, directed by Anthony Mandler. The video moved between a glamorous Hollywood version of her and the fighter in training.

Her statement for the launch pushed back on impossible standards. "Not everyone is always going to like you, but life will go on, you'll be OK and you can still love yourself," she said, adding: "People either hate my guts or really, really, like me. And I'm OK with that."

She attended with fighter Travis Browne, the outlet noted.

A Last Fight in 2026

At Inglewood's Intuit Dome in California on May 16, 2026, she took Carano down at the opening bell and won by armbar in 17 seconds, AP and Netflix reported. Netflix said it was the first MMA card on the service. The BBC reported she called Carano her hero and said it was her final fight.

Judo, the UFC and WWE

Wikipedia records that she was the first American woman to win an Olympic judo medal, with bronze in 2008. She became the UFC's first female signing and its first women's bantamweight champion, and in 2018 the first woman in the UFC Hall of Fame.

In WWE she debuted at WrestleMania 34, headlined Evolution and main evented WrestleMania 35. She won the 2022 Royal Rumble and became a Triple Crown champion with Shayna Baszler, then left WWE in October 2023 for the independent circuit.

She remains the only woman to win titles in both the UFC and WWE and to headline pay per view events for both. A 2015 ESPN fan poll voted her the best female athlete of all time. She also appeared in The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Mile 22, and published the memoir My Fight / Your Fight in 2015.

Judo runs in the family. Her mother, AnnMaria De Mars, was the first American to win a World Judo Championship, in 1984, Wikipedia notes. Rousey was born in Riverside, California.
