Gina Carano feet searches have two real answers. As a mixed martial artist she fought barefoot, as all MMA competitors do, from Strikeforce in 2006 to her May 16, 2026 comeback against Ronda Rousey. As an actress, her best documented shoes came on the 2013 Fast and Furious 6 tour, with Givenchy and Rupert Sanderson sandals.

On May 16, 2026, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, Rousey took her down at the opening bell and finished with an armbar at 17 seconds, AP and Netflix reported. It was the first MMA card streamed on Netflix. Carano, 44, had been out of competition for 17 years.
Netflix quoted her afterward: "Getting here after 17 years is a victory." The BBC reported that she rose laughing and the two embraced, and that she said the contest had saved her life after struggles with her physical and mental health.
The win carried emotion for Rousey too. Before the event she called Carano her "hero" and the person who brought her into MMA, the BBC reported, adding: "She's my hero." The BBC timed the finish at about 15 seconds; AP and Netflix gave 17. Rousey, 39, said the night was her last fight.

Before acting she built her name as a striker. Wikipedia records that she and Cris Cyborg became the first women to headline a major MMA event in 2009, a bout that ended her original run with her first defeat. She was often called the face of women's MMA, a title she rejected.

Her first lead was the action film Haywire (2011), followed by Fast and Furious 6 (2013) and Deadpool (2016). She played Cara Dune in the first two seasons of The Mandalorian from 2019 to 2020.
