Earlier on the same broadcast she joined Jimmy Fallon and Zoë Kravitz for an "EW!" sketch, and Glamour separately covered the aqua Giuseppe Zanotti platforms she wore with a sequined Gucci set that night. One show, two very different approaches to her feet.
Hosting Saturday Night Live in October 2025, she performed "Nobody's Son" against a martial arts themed set. Singer Rina Sawayama posted on Instagram that "shoes on tatami is jail," since shoes are never worn on the woven mats in Japan, BuzzFeed reported on October 20, 2025. The same piece noted some viewers suspected the dancers kept shoes on for safety, and that Kacey Musgraves, Halsey and Chris Martin have all performed barefoot on that stage.

Her 3 inch Louboutins for the Los Angeles finale fit that pattern: tall enough to read from the back row, low enough to dance in. The barefoot Tonight Show set was the opposite case, a seated, slow number where bare feet suited the old Hollywood mood.
