Rose Villain is a popular singer, songwriter, and rapper born in Milan, Italy. She is known for the boldness with which she fuses pop, trap, and urban styles together. She moved to New York City after studying at the American School of Milan and later at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She carved out a unique musical identity there. Her bilingual lyrics and visuals quickly catch the eye of new followers in the US and Europe.
Following a record deal with Universal Music and then Sony Music Italy, Rose Villain's popularity shot up. Bundy is an example of her singles, as well as her features with other Italian rappers such as Salmo and Guè Pequeno, making her one of the few female trailblazers in Italy's typically male-dominated urban music scene.
Her first album, "Radio Gotham," impressed many with its blend of shadowy storytelling and infectious melodies, and she is thus becoming a star in the making.
Her highly edgy, often punk-glam-streetward kinds of fashions added to her already captivating stage presence. She could be spied on in many music and style magazines and looked up to for her sharpness in aesthetics and ferocity of expression. She pours her guts way out in Italian, then in English, but her incredible voices and collision of genres keep winning the approval of critics and fans.
