Mina Myoui, known as Mina, is a Japanese-American singer and dancer, and one of the most cherished members of the world-famous K-pop group TWICE. With a background in ballet and years of intense K-pop training, Mina imparts an exquisite sense of control and subtle intensity to each show.
Her movements are fluid, exact, and laden with emotion; she doesn't just dance through her movement, she tells a story. Even though her personality is more subdued compared to some of her cohort, Mina's calm charisma has carved out a special presence for herself in both the performing and media worlds.
With her willowy frame, Mina embodies a ballerina, characterised by long limbs, elegance in lines, and an upright posture honed through years of disciplined training. Mina's dance training has percolated into almost every aspect of her existence.
Even in the most casual or spontaneous act of walking, wherein most people don't give a second thought to their gait, she walks with intention and grace. Her feet, bare most of the time during rehearsal or choreography videos, can be considered a subtle metaphor for her artistry and vulnerability, having supported her through pain, performance, and evolution. Quite though powerful, Mina remains a strong force on and off stage.
