Kim Kardashian feet have made news for injuries as often as for shoes. She broke her foot in December 2024 and arrived at the SKIMS New York flagship opening on a knee scooter, E! News reported. Her best known shoe choice is heelless clear platforms under her 2024 Met Gala Maison Margiela look.
She did not detail the cause. On December 6, 2024 she posted an Instagram Story of her foot in a boot cast, set to Fergie's "Clumsy," captioned "Broken foot for the holidays." Six days later, on December 12, she rolled into the SKIMS flagship opening in New York on a scooter, resting her knee on it, in a cream two piece set.
E! noted it came a year after she nearly severed two fingers in a bathroom door, and after an earlier broken shoulder and torn tendon.
In August 2008 she cut her toe on a coffee table during her Dancing With the Stars season. Glamour's beauty desk wrote that her French pedicure, with a creamy base that softened the white tip, drew more attention than the bandage.
In 2013, on a family trip to Santorini, she filmed her first fish pedicure, where small doctor fish nibble dead skin. Latin Times reported her reaction: she pleaded to take her feet out and said she hated it.

Her Maison Margiela look included a metal skirt. "If I had a shoe with a heel, the heel gets stuck in the metal skirt," she explained in a Vogue video, TODAY reported, so she wore clear platforms without a heel and balanced on them all night for the height.
Footwear News' Met Gala history shows the same instinct: matching sandals with Givenchy in 2013, strappy Lanvin heels in 2014, Tom Ford with Balmain in 2016 and clear PVC heels with Mugler in 2019. Clear and matching shoes keep attention on the dress.

Her most recent reported pedicure came in October 2026. At the Singapore Grand Prix, with boyfriend Lewis Hamilton at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, she wore a vintage 2003 Roberto Cavalli maxidress printed with peacocks and flowers on dusty pink, with cream Manolo Blahnik slingback sandals: a slight heel and thin, overlapping straps at the toe. Footwear News reported that her toenails were painted a light pink.
The dress, form fitted with cap sleeves, carried oil painting style peacocks and flowers, so the neutral cream sandals let the print lead. Footwear News called it an elegant look for a day at the races.
Most claims online about her pedicures are undated. This one has a date, a venue, a dress, a shoe brand and a color, all from one fashion trade outlet with photo credits from Formula 1 via Getty Images. That is the standard every line in this profile is held to.
