Joely Richardson is the child of Vanessa Redgrave and the grandchild of Sir Michael Redgrave, who was a leading British actress.
Though Nip/Tuck and The Tudors are among Joely’s better-known shows, she has also become famous for her many barefoot scenes on stage.
In the 1990s, Joely’s feet first attracted attention when she appeared in a new version of Lady Chatterley’s Lover with her slim size seven feet and painted red toenails. From then on, she frequently displayed them in different movies to please those who enjoy looking at women's feet.
In the Nip / Tuck TV series, several episodes feature Joely Kicking off her shoes but mostly as a patient who wants some cosmetic surgery done. Her soles and toes are often captured by the camera in close-up shots
On Showtime’s The Tudors, Joely played Queen Catherine Parr and she revealed her feat in numerous episodes wearing period slippers that are tight around the arches and narrow at the toes.
On Chatroom, a 2010 thriller where she plays a brief role, even got to film an exposed front sole shot revealing pink crinkling skin on nails. She has been filmed soles out on screen many times which led to a diehard following from foot lovers.
