It goes back to the song that made her. At the VH1 Hip Hop Honors at the Hammerstein Ballroom on July 11, 2016, she wore Louboutin Lady Peep pumps in black patent, which Footwear News tied to her lyric about red bottoms in Bodak Yellow.
FN's June 2026 look back listed Louboutin, Thom Solo, Balenciaga, Giuseppe Zanotti, Amina Muaddi and Dolce and Gabbana among her regular labels, along with custom pieces.
She opened 2025 in Louboutin's Cassia platform ballerina pumps in silk, with a bow, lace up straps and a satin ankle tie, shared on her Instagram story. The pair retailed for $1,295.
In June 2025 she posted a warning to fashion houses: no shoe that summer had become the one everyone wanted, except "them Christian Louboutin big ballerina shoes." Her request was clear. "We want good boots," she said, asking for big, tall styles, FN reported.
She returned to the Cassia on July 25, 2026, arriving for a show at Pacha in New York in a custom hot pink outfit and the Lace Up Alta in matching pink: a ballet inspired square toe, a bow, an ankle tie and a 160 mm stiletto.
FN called the Cassia one of Louboutin's most talked about releases in recent years. The house later added a platform version and made a custom thigh high pair for Ariana Grande's Eternal Sunshine tour, and the design has inspired many cheaper imitations.

Boots back up her words. At the Marc Jacobs fall 2024 show at the New York Public Library she wore white Kiki boots with four buckle straps. At Cannes Lions in June 2025 she chose orange Maison Margiela Tabi boots with gold fringe.
For the Am I the Drama? signing in Los Angeles she wore custom Thom Solo boots in reddish brown python print, designed with Kollin Carter. At Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara she wore Tom Ford spring 2013 knee high gladiator boots with leather straps and buckles.

Wikipedia notes Invasion of Privacy made her the first solo woman to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album, and Bodak Yellow and I Like It both topped the Hot 100. Am I the Drama? made her the only female rapper whose first two albums debuted at number one.
She launched her music career in 2016 with two mixtapes. Bodak Yellow made her the first female rapper this century to top the Hot 100 with a solo song and the first with a diamond certified song. Girls Like You, WAP and Up added more number ones, and Rolling Stone ranked her debut the best by a female rapper.
