Who Is Brandi Love?

She is an American performer and commentator who met her husband, Chris Potoski, at Central Michigan University; they married in 1994 while still students. Wikipedia says the couple changed careers after he suffered a stress related heart attack, starting an independent site in 2003 and running it as a family business.

In 2006 they partnered with Falcon Foto to form Naked Rhino Media, and in 2013 Kelly Madison Media announced it would build her a new website. The couple also founded Parents in Adult, an advocacy group for parents working in the industry, which Adult Video News reported in September 2005 had gained AVN as a partner; it is now defunct. She also appeared in 2008 on Penn and Teller's Showtime series in an episode about her industry.

Maize and Blue at Home

In her July 2022 OutKick essay she described how her love of college football and basketball began with her parents and grew when she was an athlete and student herself. She had become known on social media for college football picks under the hashtag #BrandiLine.

She wrote about a home theater with custom "Maize & Blue" movie seats for Michigan Wolverines games, wired to a laptop so she could post during play. The room had oversized windows for cross breezes, an 80 inch television and a sound system chosen to bring out crowd noise. At Central Michigan she was a Chippewa, while her family backed the Wolverines.

The same essay explained why she had cooled on college sports. She traced the change to 2016, when the NCAA moved tournament games out of North Carolina over a state law, and said she no longer recognized the state where she had lived for more than 20 years and raised her family. She now calls herself a Floridian.

Commentary and Politics

Wikipedia describes her as a self described conservative who has written for The Federalist. In July 2021 Turning Point USA removed her from a student conference in Florida after she attended panels, a decision some conservatives criticized, and she called the ban an example of cancel culture. Later that month she told Newsweek she would back Florida governor Ron DeSantis for president in 2024 if Donald Trump chose not to run.
