According to the same AVN profile, the solar work lasted about a year, and she later took a short job at a boarding school as well. After that she coached gymnastics in St. George, a city about 90 minutes from Las Vegas, and she was still living there when she began performing in October 2017.
She told AVN that she started out answering customer questions on home visits, and the company trained her as a technician so it would not have to keep sending someone else out. She ended up commissioning and restarting systems as well as handling customer service.
AVN reported that she was represented by the agent Mark Spiegler early on and travelled from St. George to Los Angeles every other week to film.
Her opening week was meant to include three scheduled shoots. AVN’s May 2018 profile, which counted about 50 scenes on her résumé by then, says that week did not go smoothly. She came down with flu after her first shoot and had to cancel the rest of her bookings, and she assumed she would not be asked back, but Spiegler called a few days later to arrange her return.
She came back a couple of weeks later, and the every other week routine grew out of that second visit. At the time of the profile, Spiegler said she was booked until 3 September.
A Brazzers director quoted in the same feature praised her professionalism, saying she arrived prepared and had learned her script.
Her first impression of Spiegler, she told AVN, was that he was a no nonsense guy.
Spiegler, who AVN noted had represented five of the past six winners of its Female Performer of the Year award, called her one of the most requested names on his roster. He told AVN she was charming on set and a good actress as well as a good performer.
He added that she could go a long way as long as she kept her head on her shoulders. Lopez said she looked at Riley Reid and Asa Akira as performers who had built lasting careers and hoped to do the same.
She began performing in October 2017 and has worked with studios such as Vixen, Evil Angel and Brazzers. Penthouse named her Pet of the Month in December 2018.
The following month she won the fan voted Hottest Newcomer award at the 36th AVN Awards. The ceremony was held in January 2019 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
Romi Rain, Bailey Rayne and the comedian Esther Ku hosted the show, and Cardi B performed as the musical guest, according to AVN.
Two years later she shared in the Mainstream Venture of the Year award at the 2021 AVN Awards. The prize went to the G-Eazy x Vixen music video collaboration, and AVN listed her among its cast alongside Emily Willis, Gabbie Carter and others.
In her Penthouse interview she said water is where she goes to unwind, whether that means the ocean, a lake or a backyard pool. AVN listed interior design and photography among her hobbies, and she told Penthouse she relaxes with yoga and swimming.
She told Penthouse that she loves to cook, and she named gaining and keeping her independence as her proudest achievement so far. Layered nachos are her favourite thing to cook, and she said a sudden windfall would go toward a deposit on a house.
